Off-site visits are part of the service offered at the TCCC. Off-site visits are subject to the same conditions as on-site visits and remain fully supervised. Off-site destinations must be age-appropriate and child focused. Off-site visits cannot occur at anyone’s home and remain at the discretion of staff at all times. Requests for off-site visits must be presented to TCCC staff at least one week prior to the visit. It cannot be guaranteed that all requests for off-site visits will be approved, as approval depends on sufficient staffing, transport etc. Off-site visits are only permitted after a family has attended at least two visits at the Centre.
